Q: WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY SESSION?
A: If this is your first visit with us, we ask that you arrive about 10 minutes early to fill out a quick health history intake form. These questions will help us to determine whether massage therapy is safe for you or if we need to make any adjustments for your conditions. Your therapist will then ask you a few questions that will help her to tailor your massage for you- your goals from this session, preferred pressure, etc. During the massage, you will be covered the entire time with a sheet and blanket. We use modest and ethical draping techniques. Only the body part being currently worked will be exposed at any given time (if we are working on your leg, only your leg will be uncovered). After your session, we will provide a bottle of water for you (you may find yourself extra thirsty and many people feel like their level of soreness after a deep tissue massage is decreased by drinking extra water).
Q; DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
A: Although we can't normally accommodate walk-in clients, we are sometimes able to book same-day appointments. Feel free to call us if you would like to set up an appointment or you can click "book online" to book through this website. Generally, Saturday and evening appointments fill quickly, so we may need more time ahead to book. We also keep a running cancellation list, in case an appointment opens unexpectedly.
Q: ARE YOUR THERAPISTS LICENSED?
A: Yes. All of our massage therapists have completed the required schooling, national testing, and state licensing requirements. We also take new continuing education classes each year.
Q: DO YOU WORK WITH MINORS?
A: Yes. We have worked with children as young as 5. We require a parent/guardian to be in the room during the entire session for anyone under the age of 18. We also suggest that they wear shorts during their session, to be more comfortable. Usually, 30 minute sessions are perfect for younger/smaller children. We do not work with infants, though (that requires a different type of training).
Q: DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTED PACKAGES?
A: Yes. We offer an option for you to pre-purchase 4 and get 1 free. The package must be purchased in full without any other discounts or offers (you can not combine military/LEO/senior/seasonal discounts with the package price). The package is yours, so you may share it with a spouse or friend if you'd like. The package is valid for 1 year from purchase date.
Q: HOW LONG ARE GIFT CARDS VALID?
A: Our gift cards have a 1 year expiration date from the date of purchase. However, if the expiration date has passed before you've had a chance to use it, we can extend it for you. Just give us a call.
